International success continues in 2012 for The GROOVE Method
The last GROOVE Facilitator Course offered by The GROOVE Method Institute in 2011 attracted soon-to-be-instructors from 10 countries (Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Australia, Mexico, Switzerland, Canada, USA, Germany and the UK) who travelled to the beautiful sunny beaches of Playa Del Carmen Mexico to become GROOVE Facilitators!
The international training featured course manuals in English, Spanish and German and participants had the opportunity to teach in the language that they were most comfortable speaking. Any potential language barriers were dissolved as soon as the music started playing and the instructors-in-training took control of the room to lead simple movements that allow everyBODY to experience success, while encouraging each person to figure out a way to DANCE it with their own STYLE! The multi-lingual, sun-kissed cohort members have since returned to their home communities to offer GROOVE classes...and the international expansion continues as co-creators of The GROOVE Method, Misty Tripoli and Melanie Guertin, prepare for an exciting globe-trotting year in response to the growing international demand for dance classes that allow everyBODY to experience succes, feel good and have fun!
The dynamic duo will hit the road first separately in January (Misty presenting The GROOVE Method at ECA Las Vegas; Melanie travelling to New Zeland and Australia for Master Classes and Events) before joining up in China where they will deliver two sold-out GROOVE Facilitator Training Courses to the instructors of Will's Gym (Shanghai) and MegaFit (Xian).
March 2012 bring Melanie and Misty to Australia's beautiful Byron Bay for a one-week retreat where participants will be fully immersed in The GROOVE Method's movement classes and philosophy lectures, before returning to the U.S.A. where Misty will present once again at ECA-New York City, while Melanie heads to Boston to present GROOVEmethod KIDS at Michelle Obama's Let's Move in Schools Event.
And that's just in the first three months! Trips to Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Taiwan and ongoing expansion throughout Canada and the USA will keep the pair dancing their way through the months of this very powerful year.
While Misty and Melanie travel to various international destinations, GROOVE Facilitator Courses continue to be delivered in Canada, the USA, Europe and Australia through The GROOVE Method Institute's all-star Master Trainer team! About the Authors
CEO and co-creator of The GROOVE Method
Mélanie has been able to fuse her passion for exercise, movement and dancing with her experience in education and health promotion in the co-creation of The GROOVE Method™ with Misty Tripoli. She holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning, a teaching degree in Health and Physical Education (B.Ed.), an honors degree in Kinesiology, and is a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer.

Misty is one of the worlds most innovative and engaging fitness instructors, dance choreographers and motivational speakers. After studying dance at the University of Utah, Misty brought her love of dance and her innovative approach to fitness to Los Angeles where she gained sponsorship by Nike and was hired by Les Mills to choreograph for BodyJam.
